"Our in Country guide, Finor, absolutely made the trip one of the best we have enjoyed. In addition to personally knowing the staff at most of the wineries we visited, he took pride in sharing his knowledge of Chile's rich history and culture.--Boutique hotels--Valparaiso--Pre Columbian Museum in Santiago--Pablo Neruda's Casa de Isla Negra."
"My visit to Central Chile with the Lost Oak Wine Club was truly special. The Chilean people we met were friendly, & our hotels were each different & seemed to each be characteristic of their location. Chilean food was delicious, & we especially enjoyed the delicious private-just-for-us cooking demonstration in Santiago. Our guide had worked in the Chilean wine industry for a number of years, & is extremely knowledgeable about his country & his country's wines - I enjoyed every bit of the information he shared with us! Each of the wineries - & we visited many - was also unique, picturesque & their guides shared so much with our group. And, then there are the wines! We tasted so many great wines! A wonderful vacation!"

“The Chilean trip was just wonderful. We had the best guide possible, the most capable and personable driver, and an itinerary unmatched. The country was beautiful, the people hospitable, the food, the wine, the wineries, all spectacular! I could go on and on, but know that it was an unforgettable trip.”
“Guides were much fun and quite knowledgable and accommodating. The Winery Boutique hotel was particularly outstanding, both elegant and intimate. The wineries chosen presented such an interesting and varied mix demonstrating different styles of wine production. The included chef's dinners were both interesting demonstrations of typical Chilean fare and spices with superb gourmet twists. Ready to go with Eduar again!”

“I have not enough words of praise to express how absolutely fantastic this Central Chile Valley trip was. This trip had such a personalized feel to it. Every day felt as though it was planned especially for this diverse group of 8 travelers with only a few things in common – we were all from Texas and we all had an interest in wine, food, and exploring new sights. We had a phenomenal guide who was so very knowledgeable in the culture, history, and wines of Chile. He was always finding something of interest to point out to us and looked after us as though we were his personal guests. The wineries were very different and very interesting. The lunches served at the wineries were culinary events. Trying to identify the high points of the trip is nigh impossible – there was the Winery Hotel which was exquisite; the lunch at the home of a chef who provided a food/wine pairing that he prepared in front of us; we saw Valparaiso and were able to take in and appreciate the houses on the side of the mountain before the terrible fires of this spring brought such devastation; we had evenings of cameraderie talking and sharing the wines we had tasted and purchased during the day. All of us arrived back home sorry that the trip ended, but bringing back with us wonderful memories, funny stories to share, and newly gained knowledge of the people and wines of Central Chile.”
“Judy and I just returned from 9 days in Argentina. The trip was organized by Ethaka Travel. We were very impressed by: 1. The organization and quality of the tours; 2. The detailed service of the travel guides - amazing! One guide even accompanied the driver to our hotel at 3:30 AM to pick us up for our flight to Iguazu and had already obtained our boarding passes. 3. It was obvious that the travel service had researched our interests in organizing the various tours.”
