Colombian by birth, Ecuadorian by heart, South American by spirit, Eduar Lamprea is passionate about the history and geography of South America where he finds inspiration for his other passion, fashion design.​  After many years of traveling, looking for the real essence of South American and other world cultures cultures as his source of inspiration he discovered the magic in the process of farming grapes and making wine .

The name Ethaka Travel was inspired by the Greek poem ITHACA that speaks of the trip of life.  A life that should be full of adventure, knowledge, passion and culture and through these adventures, discover oneself.
